Took the day off because I spent 7.5hrs driving my new e30 home from Wisconsin. The weird thing is that even though it’s a lot nicer than the other one I have, besides the inner tie rod going out, I still like the one with a terminal case of cancer better. I think taking the muffler off will help a little, and I’ll probably adjust to the z3 short shifter. I’m still not really sure how I feel about the lightened fly wheel.

I’llhave to keep driving it and see. Honestly if I don’t adjust I might tell the guy I bought from he can buy it back for the same price. Otherwise I’ll swap in my other engine andtransmission I guess.

Tuesday for me(worked Sun). Spent the day fitting together ductwork on a very cold roof. Yay. But I love my job and actually learned a bit, so can’t complain.

Since the lede is a photo of a blue BMW, anyone care to opine on the authenticity of this M440?

Sorry about the crappy quality. Was running out of red light and wanted to get the pic so I could ( hopefully) make fun of him. He definitely reinforced the stereotype of the typeA BMW driver.

Just come off a 14hr flight to spend an hour and a half queuing for immigration at Houston because the kiosks are broken. And now I’m waiting for my delayed connection to Atlanta. So yes, depressing.

Meh, it’s a pretty light day overall. I just did a brief performance eval over for the 2017 year and it was my best year since starting at this company. Best year = more bonus and more raise = happier gin-san.

This job, like anything else, has its ups and downs, but it was nice to finish on the up, for once.
